Alright, guys. For all those who watch me, you'll be pleased to know that I am a Furcadia player. Indeed, I am! I have two alts I roam about on -

Now, what's all this about a contest, you say? Well, I've been too sick/busy to be doing any art, and my creativity pool has turned to a.. cesspool, for lack of more intuitive adjective use. So I'm hosting a contest for you to choose between one of two things.

First : You can draw me (ask for pictures!) Tentiecool or a Tentacool Pokemon. But don't flood me with Tentacool drawings; I know he's extremely easy to draw! You can combine me with the Tentacool if you would like. I'll give you pictures of me if you ask for them.

Second : This one, you might have fun with. See, I'm trying very hard to crap out a character design for Withdrawn, but it's just. Not. Coming. You all know how it is. It's difficult, tiring.. all that stuff. I know one thing for sure. I can give you a background story for the character, (a summary) and some basics I want in the drawing.

Basics
Two pairs of wings (both feathery wings, if you will) sprouting from the back.
Canine features, please.
No definitive gender, but if you have to, make it like a slightly feminine male.
Make it kind of skinny. Not emaciated or anorexic, just make it a little thin.
Colors should be a pale, eggshell white, most of them, with some greys and blacks.
Very shy, calm, quiet.

Background/Summary
It is the loyal servant to the ruler of Purgatory (the place between Heaven and Hell). The saying, "Death rides on a pale horse" can come in play here, because I think Death takes the souls he reaps to Purgatory because it's not his job to judge their souls, just to reap them and let them be judged by others.

Well, enough with the descriptions. Which, by the way, if you have any questions with, I'll be glad to expand. Don't forget to check back if I have an update, I might get more inspiration on my character and have a little bit better of a description to give you. (;

First Place

This is tentative, because my funds need to be saved after this, but if enough people enter my contest, I'll make first prize a full year subscription to dA, or equivalent digo(s) from the digo market ($30 and less). If you have another request, or would like $30 via PayPal or snailmail, feel free to note me about it.

Second Place

You can get a three month subscription to dA (which is better than nothing!) and/or some sort of inexpensive desctag offer on the digomarket. Or, $8 via PayPal or snailmail. Sound reasonable? (:

How can you enter?

You can submit your art in almost any form you please, but if you're going to do a lazy job on the submission (i.e. draw a small sketch on paper and not put in any shading or anything), don't be offended if you don't get chosen for a prize. Ports, CG, really nice sketches/paintings, pixel art.. however you do your thing, I want to see it! (:

Hey everyone..

Been working 11-8 for the past three days, and today, I work it again.. and I'm staying home.

Yesterday was the worst day at work ever. I bought a whole chicken to eat, because it smelled really wonderful, and I went and ate it.. and now I believe I have food poisoning from it. I felt sick all night last night, and this morning I'm running a fever and throwing up all over the damn place.

Either that, or I got salmonella from my new turtle Otis, but I highly doubt it - I wash my hands after every time I handle him. Now, I think I'm staying home so I can play Final Fantasy Tactics or puke all over myself.. one of the two. Or perhaps both? Oh well..

Crossing my fingers for a speedy recovery, and sorry about my journal inactivity!

Yes, I have recovered. And, almost right after I posted this journal last, I got a package in the mail from and it was her promised Tentacool plushie! It's so adorable, I'll take action shots of him later and post them on dA. Check it out!

MY LOVER

I got a Tentacool on my red rescue team. It was harder than it seems! I didn't use common sense until then. Think of it. The Grand Sea dungeon has 20 something floors, and all I wanted out of it was a Tentacool named Tentie so I can make him my leader. That with only being able to bring 3 Reviver Seeds, 4 Max Elixers, and a handful of Oran Berries and other useless junk, AND being a Marowak.. and losing my HM Dive on a mission so I could only bring along Marshtomp, who I had the forethought to teach Dive (alongside Barboach and Lombre). I COULD HAVE USED AN ESCAPE ORB ONCE I GOT TENTACOOL ON MY TEAM! But no! I didn't, and that was so stupid.. I could have bought one from the (haha, the purple kecleon is also a dA user) .. yet I never had the forethought to. I'm still happy though; no longer will I waste precious daytime hunting for an out for my Tentie again. Now he's my leader. I'll never evolve him! He's going to be the strongest and the fastest on my team. owo

Hello everyone! Yes, I am a new artist on the scene here at dA, and I appreciate every last one of your pageviews and comments.

I have the cutest idea for a jacket made of Tentacool, but I'll draw it later. It'll be a concept drawing.

The big round red "eyes" will be at the sides of the hood, like a Tentacool head, but they're headphones! And the strings hanging down from the neck will be tentacles. How sweet.

I noticed that there is not a lot of Tentacool fanart! ;; How sad. Poor Tentacool; I'll give that cute little squishy some fame to his name, promise.

Speaking of! I'm excited to get Tentacool from Grand Sea in my Pokemon Red Rescue team. Yes, I have a DS, but it's a rather bad one, so I'm going to use the money from my job to buy me something nice and worthwhile, perhaps a new DS or my sweetheart another art commission from the wonderful PaleMajesty. You really should commission her, she's spectacular with all of her artwork, or you can go to [link] and check out her stuff. Here's the one I commissioned her to do for my sweetheart, who is if you wanted to know.
